Honorable Judith P. Goontz and Donald W. Harris Hear Cases in Magistrate Court
Benjamin Boatwright, 24, pled guilty, was sentenced to two days in jail, and ordered to pay $670.25 for the misdemeanor offense Fleeing From an Officer (vehicle) occurring on or about August 17, 2022.
David, Shawn Christien, 39, has waived, his preliminary hearing for a felony offense occurring on or about January 29, 2023 of alleged Child Abuse Resulting in Injury. The case has been transferred to Wetzel county circuit court.
Robert Clegg, 46, was charged with a felony offense alleged to have occurred on or about February 4, 2023, of Violating an Order Prohibiting Stalking or Harassment- Second Offense. Clegg is scheduled to return for a preliminary hearing on February 21, 2023.
Wesley K. Dulaney, 26, pled, not guilty to one count-Obstructing an Officer, one count -DUI >=.15, one count -Duty Upon Striking Fixtures Upon a Highway, and one count -Speeding. All offenses alleged to have occurred on or about January 22, 2023.
Joseph Allen Henderson, 46, was charged on or about January 23, 2023 with a misdemeanor offense of Knowingly or Intentionally Possessing a Controlled Substance without a Valid Prescription and one count, Person Prohibited from Possessing Firearms. Henderson was ordered to serve 90 days in jail on each offense with the sentencing to run concurrent. He was further ordered to pay $440.50 restitution.
Travis Lancaster, 29, has been charged with felony Burglary. Alleged to occur on or about January 19, 2023. Lancaster is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on February 21, 2023.
Jordan Longwell, 27, pled, not guilty and posted $1000 PR bond for a misdemeanor offense alleged to have occurred on or about February 2, 2023 of Knowingly or Intentionally Possessing a Controlled Substance without a Valid Prescription.
Ralph L. Miller III, , 45, pled, not guilty and posted a $500 cash bond for the misdemeanor offense DUI alleged to have occurred on or about January 29, 2023. Miller is scheduled to return for a preliminary hearing on March 14, 2023.
Armond A. Robinson, 31, entered a plea of not guilty and posted $1500 personal recognizance bond for the alleged misdemeanor offense said to occur on or about January 31, 2023 of Knowingly, or Intentionally Possessing a Controlled Substance without a Valid Prescription.
Robert Leroy Streets, 40, pled, not guilty to the felony offense, one count- Manufacture/Deliver/ Possess with Intent to Manufacture /Deliver a schedule I or II narcotic- Methamphetamine, and one misdemeanor count, Knowingly, or Intentionally Possessing a Controlled Substance without a Valid Prescription- Meth. Streets is set for a preliminary hearing on February 13, 2023.
