The Magnolia Blue Eagles split their volleyball opener with a 25-9 and 25-13 loss to the Shenandoah Lady ‘Zeps and a 26-24 and 25-17 victory over the host Union Local Lady Jets Sept. 1.

Erin Clegg tallied four points, while Emily Clegg, Jordan Babe, Emily Blake, Mallory Chapman, and Lauren Cline each tallied three points against Shenandoah.

In the match with Union Local, Babe and Chapman each scored in double figures, while Cline netted nine and Blake seven to pace Magnolia in the victory over the Jets. Erinn Clegg tallied five markers, while Emily Clegg added four points and Makenzie Dawson put up three points for Magnolia.
