The Fur Fin Feather club would like to thank Wetzel Chronicle, Wal-Mart, and the members of the club who gave of their time or money to make the July 9th Kids Fishing Derby a success. Zack Beegle won first place for largest fish caught and most fish caught. Shyla Cross won first place for largest fish in six-year-old category and shared second place for most fish caught. Tristin Cross won largest fish caught in three-year-old category and was the first child to catch a fish that day. Lindsey Beegle participated in three-year-old category. Lindsey Moore won first place in her age category for largest fish caught and shared second place for most fish caught. All the children received gift cards in winning categories.

It was a blessed wonderful day of enjoyment for the children and adults alike. We look forward to the next children’s fishing event.
