Lemoyne and Donna Horner

Lemoyne and Donna Horner celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 17. Rev. Willis Slider united them in marriage on June 17, 1961, at the First Christian Church, New Martinsville.

Lemoyne is retired from Ormet Corporation after 44 years of service and currently serves as minister of the Arnold’s Creek Christian Church and the Antioch Christian Church.

Donna had worked at Marcella’s Gift Shop and is currently employed at Rite Aid.

They are the parents of four children. The family includes Beth Crooks and her husband Chester of Bellaire, Ohio; Jackie and Jason Burns of Prospect, Ohio; Joe and his wife Kim of New Martinsville; and Kelly Keifer (husband Mike, deceased) of Proctor. They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

To celebrate their anniversary, the children and grandchildren will host an open house at the Lewis Wetzel Family Center on June 26 from 2-5 p.m. and all friends and family are invited to attend and help celebrate.

The couple requests no gifts. Your presence will be gift enough.
