Women Arrested For Intent To Deliver Heroin
Two women are being held in the Northern Regional Jail on $40,000 surety bonds after being charged with one count each of possession with intent to deliver (heroin).
Kristica Rheannon Skelley, 29, of 714 North Fourth Ave., Paden City, and Michelle Renee Huey, 23, of 321 McCabe Dr., Greensburg, Pa., were arraigned in Wetzel County Magistrate Court Tuesday on the charges after a search of a Paden City residence found 120 waxed paper bags containing a powdery substance believed to be heroin and $1,817 cash. Black rubber bands held the goods in 10-bag increments.
In a statement given to the Paden City Police Department, Skelley said Huey went to Pittsburgh in the early morning hours Monday and brought back 10 bricks of heroin with the intent of selling them for $20 per stamp out of Skelley’s residence. PCPD Patrolman R. Goddard was the arresting officer.
Skelley is already facing drug charges in Wetzel County. On Jan. 30, following a traffic stop, Skelley was charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of a controlled substance (Xanax) without proof of valid prescription, and possession of a controlled substance (Lunestra) without proof of valid prescription.
