Police Seek Information About Simon’s Robbery

This is a still shot from a video surveillance camera at Simon’s Market in?Pine Grove that shows the robbery of a case of beer Jan. 23. West Virginia State Police are seeking any information the public may have concerning the incident.

Simon’s Market in Pine Grove was broken into at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 23. According to Sr. Tpr. Francis Raynor of the West Virginia State Police Hundred Detachment, a large rock was used to break the glass out of the front door, wherein the culprit took a case of Budweiser beer, but nothing else. Raynor believes the suspect fled on foot.

As this incident remains under investigation, there is little more information available at this time.
