From Carolyn Shinn
I am the lady who had Earl on her back porch for two years. Earl was a real experience, but one I wouldn’t have missed.
Most people didn’t like him because he really did smell bad, but I wasn’t able to wrestle him into the tub for a bath.
The people at the animal shelter were so great to take him to the vet and give him a warm place to sleep. I had tried every place I could think of and one phone call to them got responses. The same day they took Earl to the vet, they offered to take my dog Charlie to the vet and gave me ointment for his bad eye. My grandmother used to say, “Be careful how you treat people you meet in life, as there are angels among us.” Now I know there are, and they work at the Wetzel County Animal Shelter.
Thanks to all of you,
