We would simply like to add our congratulations to the many Magnolia High School Quarterback Justin Fox has received since being announced as the recipient of the 2010 Harrison H. Kennedy Award.
While Fox led the Eagles to the AA Championship and was named the Most Valuable Player of the Game, winning the Kennedy Award is still a coveted honor that simply puts the finishing touch on his high school football career.
It was the final piece in an outstanding list of accomplishments for this young man and we are thrilled that the West Virginia Sports Writers Association voted to bestow the accolade on Fox. While the vote was the closest in the award’s history, except for one tie, we know the right player was chosen. Had the votes been cast after the Class AAA shenanigans on and off the field, we’re sure the vote wouldn’t have even been close. Congratulations Justin!
