Hundred Will Hold Christmas Parade

At the Hundred Town Council meeting held Nov. 15 the council decided this year’s Christmas parade would be held Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. They have also planned the council Christmas dinner to take place the following evening, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m.

Regarding the field light replacement project for the football field, it was learned the poles have arrived and electrical work will begin sometime this week. The crew will work on the poles as weather permits and anticipate the project to be completed by spring.

The Town of Hundred received their signs regarding the ATV ordinance of no driving on city streets, however the signs were misprinted and will be sent back.

At their meeting Nov. 1 the council discussed increasing Hundred Farm Supply’s bill due to the volume of trash. Lastly, it was reported the hole in the street at the back side of Hundred High School has been filled with gravel.
