If I had been permitted to address my brothers and sisters in the “Tea Party” on Oct. 23, I would have said:

“Since I do not perceive any Native Americans-at least any with head dresses or battle paint-then I would suggest that, since we all are emigrants (or of emigrant stock), the first federal agency to be abolished is the INS.”
