The American Legion Marne Post No. 28 recently held its annual family picnic on Aug. 1. Despite the current economic climate, many local businesses graciously donated to this event. These businesses are a true testament to the formidable nature of the American spirit and the ongoing support of our active military troops, veterans, and their families.
