Paul and Anna Wolverton

Paul and Anna Wolverton celebrated their 64th Anniversary June 11 at the New Martinsville Health Care Center.

Paul and Anna were united in marriage at a Baptist church in Salem in 1946. They lived in New Matamoras, Ohio, and had four children. They also have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The couple, aged 85 and 89 respectively, celebrated with a party at the center. There was cake and punch, music, and gifts such as beautiful flowers and picture frames.

Anna has been at the NMHCC for a little over a year, yet her husband Paul drives from their home in New Matamoras nearly every day to visit her. Very happily, Anna says she feels like she’s part of a family at the center and the party the center threw for the couple illustrates just that.
