Fox Retains Paden City Mayor’s Seat

Paden City Mayor William B. “Bill” Fox received an affirming vote Thursday during the town’s municipal election.

With 244 votes he beat out challengers Clyde Hochstrasser, who garnered 172 votes, and Cindy L. Slider, who received 16 votes.

The council elections were all unopposed. Their vote tallies were as follows: First Ward, Incumbent Glen “Bob” Casteel, 93; Second Ward, Tom Trader, 101; Third Ward, Larry Potts, 150. The results are unofficial until canvassed.
