This week’s Wetzel County Commission meeting was brief with only one appointment. Abby Dulaney was present to follow-up with the commission about the mattress covers to be purchased for the 4-H campground cabins. At last week’s meeting the commission approved up to $600 for the purchase of mattress covers.

The final quote for the covers came to $663.26. The commission approved the new amount for the purchase of the mattress covers which will be ordered in time for the first camp hosted by the WVU Extension office set for June 13-18.

The extension office will take new campers up until the first day of camp. Deadline has passed however to get discounts or scholarships.
