Since the election is over and the votes are in, I feel compelled to tell you a little about Carla Neely Wade. She ran a clean, dignified, and professional campaign.

She refused to allow her family to comment or retaliate when untrue rumors were started about her, when her signs were stolen, or when harassing phone calls were made to her mother’s employer. She held her head high when snide remarks were made within earshot. All this and more happened to Carla during the course of her campaign for Circuit Clerk. Being the professional that she is, she held her emotions in check until she could cry in the privacy of her husband’s arms.

Her family is proud of the way she ran her campaign, she can be very proud of the way she conducted herself during her campaign and I’m very proud to say that Carla Neely Wade is my daughter-in-law.
