Motts Observe Anniversary
Jack and Doris Jean Mott of Pine Grove will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 17. They were married on May 17, 1960, by Rev. Everett Shaeffer at his home in Pine Grove.
Doris Jean is the daughter of the late John and Permelia Fluharty. Jack is the son of the late Truman and Margaret Mott. Jack is retired from the former Consolidated Gas Transmission where he worked for 38 years.
They have four children and three grandchildren. The family includes Cheri and Mick Stutler of Charles Town, W.Va.; Jackie Mott, Mike and Shana Mott, Josh, Garth, and Alexis of Hedgesville, W.Va.; and Bob Mott of Pine Grove.

Shower Held In Honor Of John R. Motts
Mr. and Mrs. John R. Mott, of Pine Grove, whose marriage was an event of mid-May, were honored recently at an informal party and miscellaneous shower held in the recreation rooms of Reader Methodist Church.
Games were enjoyed in the early evening and prizes were awarded. At a late hour refreshments were served and the shower concluded the evening.
