Katherine Burnette, one-and-a-half years old, picks up an egg during the New Martinsville Parks and Recreation’s egg hunt in Lewis Wetzel Park Saturday morning. She is the daughter of Steve and Jennifer Burnette of Charles Town, W.Va. They were in New Martinsville visiting Katherine’s great-grandparents, John and Thelma Kormos. The event was sponsored by Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union and New Martinsville Parks and Recreation. It included 2,000 Easter eggs filled with goodies.
