From Linda Hill
Responding to recent letters concerning the stray cat population in our town: I could not agree more with Tim Hill’s letter of March 10.I know the problem with the excess cats is a difficult one, and I do not know what should be done.
However, I do know what should not be done, and that is the baiting and trapping of family pets and then disposing of them, the way we would some sort of vermin. Quoting one of my very favorite movie lines, “It may be legal – but it ain’t right,” spoken by Wilford Brimley in “Absence of Malice.”We need to come together soon to find a humane solution.
