From Donald L. Ray
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to many people in this state for their combined efforts that finally restored our phone service that was lost on Feb. 5. In the 21st Century, it’s hard to believe that many of us had no telephone service for almost two weeks. I especially want to recognize the outstanding efforts of Delegate Dave Pethtel. Delegate Pethtel worked tirelessly with Frontier Communications, the Governor’s Office, the Public Service Commission, and the Director of West Virginia Homeland Security to get our service restored. Throughout this difficult and stressful time, Mr. Pethtel was calm, professional, and supportive.
Delegate Pethtel will stand for reelection to the State Legislature in May. He is a focused problem solver who provides exactly the caring, knowledgeable leadership we need to represent us in Charleston. I have worked with him on several other complex issues and have always found him to be totally honest, dependable, and supportive. He has my vote and I encourage you to give him yours. Let’s send him back to Charleston where he can continue to work for our community and our state.
Sincerely,
Donald L. Ray
