YWCA Program Expands To Outlying Areas

The YWCA Family Violence Prevention Program will be expanding services to Hundred and Pine Grove in order to reach victims of domestic violence in the most rural parts of Wetzel County. The STOP Advocate’s office will be located on the second floor of the Union Bank building in Hundred. Services will be offered the second Tuesday of each month beginning Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The advocate will be in Pine Grove on the third Tuesday of every month beginning Feb. 16. The Pine Grove office will be located in the downstairs of the Byrd Center and services will be available from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The expansion of services has been made available through the Department of Criminal Justice Services, STOP Violence Against Women Act, Recovery Act Grant obtained by the YWCA Family Violence Prevention Program. For more information contact Aimee at 304-455-6400.
