Paden City Sets Election Timetable

The City of Paden City will hold an election on June 3. A mayor and one member of council from each ward will be elected. Anyone desiring to run for an office must file by April 2 at 4 p.m. in the recorder’s office at the city building.

The drawing for ballot positions will be held on April 5 beginning at 9 a.m. in the recorder’s office.

The last day to register to vote in this election is May 14. You must go to the courthouse in the county in which you reside to register.

The first day that absentee ballot applications can be received by the recorder will be March 11. Absentee ballots will be mailed to the voter beginning April 22.

The first day of early voting in-person will be May 14 and the last day of early voting in-person will be May 31.

Early voting will be held at city hall.

Polls will open at 6:30 a.m. on Election Day and close at 7:30 p.m.

Poll locations: First Ward, former middle school cafeteria; Second Ward, city building in council chambers; Third Ward, Paden City Elementary School.
