At least 13 vehicles on Main and Ohio streets in New Martinsville had their tires slashed Sunday night.

“We’re thinking it happened around 9 p.m. Sunday,” said New Martinsville Police Chief Tim Cecil. The vehicles were parked along the entire length of Main Street, with the perpetrator taking a detour from that street to hit vehicles on Ohio Street.

The incident is still under investigation by NMPD Captain Mike Thomas.
