The New Martinsville School PTO recently held its 2nd annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24. Over 350 area children attended along with their parents, and a good time was had by all. We have had a lot of positive feedback from our parents and students, and were very pleased by the turn out from the community.

We would like to thank our sponsors for helping make the Fall Festival such a success again this year. They are: PPG Industries, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union, Moose Lodge #931, Ludewig Insurance, Wetzel Valley Agencies, Toman Insurance, Wetzel County Home Health, Budget Finance, Helen Parker, WesBanco, Peoples Bank, Ace Hardware, Quinet’s Court Restaurant, Power Country 104, NMS teachers and staff for baking cakes and goodies for the cake walk, Wayne and Cindy Weber for judging our costume contest, MHS YLU members and NMS 7th and 8th grade students for working all of the carnival games, and Becky Baker for donating items for the Haunted House.

A special thanks also goes out to all of the NMS parents who helped plan and organize this event. We are hoping the 3rd Annual NMS Fall Festival will be even bigger and better. See you next year!
