Heather Jean Macnaughtan and Stephen Edward Dudek

Heather Jean Macnaughtan and Stephen Edward Dudek are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Macnaughtan is a 1989 graduate of Magnolia High School, a 1993 graduate of Marietta College where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, and a 1996 graduate of Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis, Ind., where she obtained a Master of Science degree in statistics and mathematics.

She is currently employed by Medicis Pharmaceuticals in Scottsdale, Ariz., and resides in Fountain Hills, Ariz. She is the daughter of Don and Marlene Macnaughtan of New Martinsville.

Dudek is a 1994 graduate of the University of Michigan where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in physics. He is currently employed by the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., and resides in Livonia, Mich., with his two sons, Alexei and Dimitry.

He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Stan (Diane) Dudek of Okemos, Mich.

An Oct. 31 wedding in Old Lyme, Conn., is planned.
