Mr. and Mrs. Scott J. Yost

Mr. and Mrs. Scott J. Yost of Hundred celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a buffet dinner at their home given by their daughter, Mrs. William C. (Diana) Lemley, also of Hundred.

Mr. and Mrs. Yost were married on Aug. 19 in St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Oakland, Md., by the Rev. Denver C. Pickens.

Mr. Yost is the son of the late Geneieve Babbitt Yost and Scott Yost, Sr. of Hundred. Mr. Yost worked for R.S. Corson Company, Inc., Mellon Stuart Carpenters Union Local 604, and is a member of the American Legion Post 120.

Mrs. Yost is the daughter of the late Agnes Heldreth Shamblen and Leo B. Shamblen of Rachel, W.Va.

Mr. and Mrs. Scott J. Yost are the parents of two daughters: Mrs. William (Diana) Lemley of Hundred and Ms. Brenda S. Allison of Fairmont. Mr. and Mrs. Yost have three grandchildren: Renee Allison Plum of Fairmont; Melissa Diane Jeskiewicz of Louisburg, N.C.; and Scott Lemley of Hundred. They have one great-grandchild, William Joseph Jeskiewicz of Louisburg, N.C.

The day was celebrated with family and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Yost would like to give thanks and gratitude for the many cards and gifts received and much appreciation for everyone who attended the celebration.
