From Green Machine 4-H Club
The Wetzel County Green Machine 4-H Club was started in March of 2009. We have held a Community Service Work Day at Hundred Public Library, one paying work day at First Exchange Bank, one bake sale also at the First Exchange Bank, and the Fourth of July Celebration. During the Fourth of July we sold ice cream and had a games booth. We were also represented at Town and Country Days with entries in vegetables, crafts, and livestock. Also we had five members attend the Wetzel County 4-H Camp in New Martinsville.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people and organizations publicly for their support in our efforts to help the children in 4-H in the Hundred area.
The Wetzel County Green Machine 4-H club would like to send out a big “How! How!” to the following sponsors: Belko Foods #6, Core’s Discount Center, Country Cupboard, Hundred Lumber, Community Workers, 4-H Friends, and Henderson Farms. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
We have done very well for such a small group and only part of a year to do it in. The Wetzel County Green Machines are asking all of the Hundred and Littleton communities to be good partners to the above listed sponsors because they are willing to help support our youth to make better citizens for our future, because the 4-H motto is “Making the Best Better.”
Sincerely,
The Wetzel Country Green Machine 4-H Club
