Miller Named Fair Queen

Krysten Miller, daughter of Tim and Lyn Miller of New Martinsville, was named the 2009 Town and Country Days Queen Monday night. She will reign over the week-long event that culminates with a performance by the legendary Oak Ridge Boys Saturday evening at 8 p.m.

Krysten wasn’t the only royalty crowned on the stage during the first night of the fair. A total of five pageants were held.

The first runner up of the queen’s pageant was McKenzie Bucher, daughter of Rick and Jackie Bucher of Reader. She was also named Miss Congeniality and Most Photogenic. The second runner up was Amy Klug, daughter of Jim and Denise Klug of Proctor.

Miss Teen is Megan Bucher, daughter of Rick and Jackie Bucher of Reader. Runner-up Miss Teen is Haley White, daughter of William and Lisa White of Silver Hill.

Pre-Teen Queen is Danielle Stewart, daughter of Jodi Jobe of New Martinsville. Runner-up is Kaci Loy, daughter of Bobby and Katie Loy of Porters Falls.

Little Miss is Hannah McKelvey, daughter of Chuck and Tracey Loy and Jamie and Misty McKelvey of Porters Falls. Runner up is Breanna Pekula, daughter of Shellie Pekula of Proctor.
