We recently attended the Festival of Memories. This was the fourth annual festival held on the third Saturday in July. The great thing about this festival is that everything except for your food and drinks are free.

The Riverfront Development committee works very hard each year to make the festival better than the last and I might say that this year’s festival was a huge success.

We got to see great musical entertainment, a magic show, and an awesome fireworks display to close out the evening. And if you were one of the first 1,000 people to receive a bracelet, you were eligible to win one of over 35 brand new bikes.

We would like to take this opportunity to commend and thank the Riverfront Development Committee for making this one-day event possible in our beautiful historic downtown area.
