Leaving The Doolin Run Road

By Staff | Aug 5, 2009

Traffic was stopped for a while, but no one was injured in this single-vehicle incident involving a loaded diesel transport vehicle on Doolin Run Road. At 2:39 p.m. Tuesday dispatchers received a call about the truck going off the roadway on the east side of the Doolin’s intersection with Limestone Ridge Road. The rear tires of the truck owned by Petroleum Transport Inc. of Charleston, W.Va., went off the roadway, putting it in danger of rolling over the hill. Thankfully there was no leakage of the truck’s contents, according to Wetzel County Sheriff James Hoskins. The incident is under investigation by the Wetzel County Sheriff’s Department. “Charges may be pending,” noted Hoskins. (Photo by Bruce Crawford)
