Magnolia Roundballer Patrons-Golf and Coach Dave Tallman would like to thank everyone involved in making our second annual Father’s Day Golf Scramble a huge success.

All funds raised support Magnolia’s growing golf team. We currently have 18 players signed up to represent Magnolia for the 2009 season.

Sixty-four golfers played in this year’s tournament and we thank them for their continued support.

We were fortunate to have the following volunteers help: Barbara King, Francis Bland, JoBeth Simmons, Scott Tusic, Vicki Tusic, Kelly Taylor, Carol Tallman, Paul Burke, Chris Fuller, Lindsay Dieffenbauch, Luke Dieffenbauch, Drew Simmons, Noah Taylor, Michael Tusic, Landon Herrick, and Tara Tharp.

Golfers and volunteers enjoyed a nice lunch. Food was prepared by Francis Bland and Barbara King. Sausage sandwiches were donated and prepared by Jim and Amy Dieffenbauch. Golf parents provided the desserts. A big thanks to Witschey’s Market for discounting food and to Fairway Riverside Golf Course for hosting the event. Robin and Kim did a fantastic job.
