I must sheepishly admit that I have never been to Hundred’s Fourth of July celebration before and may I say that it was fabulous!

It was great to see so many people come out for the parade and activities to follow. The participation was overwhelming and it truly looked like everyone was having a great time.

I wasn’t even able to be at the park location for too long as I had other events to cover for the newspaper, but I’m sure the smiles and laughter lasted throughout the day. I will definitely try to get back to Hundred for next year’s Fourth of July and I would encourage everyone else to do so as well. It really is a gem.
