Reading Judy’s Views in the June 3 edition bought home memories of New Martinsville and our friend Daisy Thornton, now deceased.

Although Daisy was very active in the church and lodge work, if I called on the spur of the moment and asked Daisy if she’d like to go to Wheeling with me, she’d say “Give me 20 minutes.”

So many times, I put off things, and then its too late. This column has given me the incentive to get my priorities in order. Thanks Judy.
