ATV Victim Shows Improvement
Norman “Bucky” Jackson, 33, of New Martinsville, is talking with family and improving after suffering from an all-terrain vehicle accident Saturday. In fact, he was released from Ruby Memorial Hospital Tuesday evening.
Jackson was not wearing a helmet when his ATV went off Whiteman Hill Road in the area of a retaining wall. He reportedly landed on a rock several feet below the roadway and his ATV then landed on top of him.
He was taken by helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown where he received several stitches across his head and was treated for bleeding on the brain and broken vertebrates.
