Relay For Life Begins Friday

By Staff | Jun 16, 2009

The Wetzel County Relay For Life will be held Friday beginning at 6 p.m. and ending on Saturday at 6 a.m. on the Magnolia High School track.

In its 11th year in the fight against cancer, the Wetzel County relay has already collected more than their $84,000 goal. This is the first time the goal has been met prior to the actual event and organizers are excited to see what the final tally will be.

While teams have already registered and have been conducting fund raisers all year long, the general public is welcome to come to the event, see what all the excitement is about, and take part.
