Weirton gets $400,000 for the cleanup of possible sites. Moundsville gets $200,000 for the continuation of the cleanup of the Fostoria Glass plant. New Martinsville gets nothing, even though we have a major hazardous site in the center of our town. The Viking Glass plant sets on nearly six acres of prime land. It is a dangerous eyesore that we deal with every day. We need this site cleaned, cleared, and returned to the city of New Martinsville. Our city, county, state and federal governments have failed us.
