From Barbara Powell
The Helping Hand food pantry’s board of directors wishes to express our appreciation to the U.S. Postal Service and residents of New Martinsville for the recent food drive. According to New Martinsville USPS workers, over 3,000 pounds of food were collected for the area’s needy.
The Helping Hand pantry serves nearly 125 families each month with about 400 individuals benefitting. Helping Hand is also financed by area churches, businesses, governmental funds, and private donations.
Our sincere appreciation to all who donated.
