Sara Teresa Swan Is Wed To Joshua Lee Frashure
Sara Teresa Swan and Joshua Lee Frashure were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2008, at Twin Rivers Baptist Church, Marietta, Ohio, with Pastor Rick Smith officiating the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Teresa Swan of New Matamoras. She is the granddaughter of Pat Creighton and the late Bob Creighton of New Matamoras, and the late Kurt and Helen Swan of New Cumberland, W.Va.
The groom is the son of Doug and Lynn Frashure of Buckhannon, W.Va. He is the grandson of Ted and Shirley Bell of Ocean Grove, N.J., and Larry and Millie Frashure of Bloxom, Va.
Shana Swan, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor and Jonathan Harwood, friend of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Rebecca Frashure, Lindsey Powell, Lydia Powell, Jessie Harris, Brie Rothacher, Amy Herrick, Corinne Shumaker, Jason Frashure, Kaelan Clay, Christopher Rouse, Nathanael Brouhard, David Boone, Jonas Tomlyn, and Cory Wonderly.
Raegan Hale, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl and Logan Hale, cousin of the bride, served as the ringbearer. Guest book and bubble attendants were Sydney Hale, Kara Smith, JP Creighton, and Alec Smith.
A reception was held at The Comfort Inn, Marietta.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of River High School; a 2006 graduate of Waynesburg College, Waynesburg, Pa., with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology; and a 2008 graduate of Chatham University, Pittsburgh, Pa., with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She is currently employed at Tri-State Rehabilitation as a physical therapist in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School; a 2005 graduate of Messiah College, Grantham, Pa., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy; and a 2006 graduate of Waynesburg College with a Master of Business Administration degree. He is currently employed at Alcoa Corporation as an accounting analyst in Pittsburgh, Pa.
After a honeymoon to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in Pittsburgh.
