Schools Will Hold Proms
Hundred High School will hold its prom Friday. Professional pictures are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and the walk-down at the school is at 5:30 p.m. with the queen coronation to follow. The students are scheduled to leave via bus to Lakeview in Morgantown at 6:15 p.m.
Both Valley and Paden City high schools will hold their proms Saturday.
At VHS walk-in will be held at the high school beginning at 7 p.m. The public is invited and encouraged to attend and take lots of pictures of the students in their finery. Also, a picture scene will be set up inside the high school and anyone who attends is welcome to enter the school and use the backdrops for their personal photos. Also, Chuck Phillips will be taking professional photographs at the high school.
The students will then proceed to the Byrd Center for the actual prom that begins at 8 p.m. Only students and chaperones will be allowed to enter the center.
PCHS students will meet at the Paden City Park marina between 6 and 6:25 p.m. Those wanting to be in the group photo need to be at the marina no later than 6:15 p.m.
Cars will begin to leave the marina at 6:30 p.m. and parade to the high school where the public is welcome to gather to watch the attendees promenade to the front door as a disc jockey announces their names. Professional photos will be taken in the library from 6:30-7:30 p.m. with the dance held from 7-11 p.m.
