We understand the frustration some people have about the caterer of the upcoming Wetzel County Chamber of Commerce dinner being from Marshall County. We felt it too when the same caterer hosted their fall event…until we found out they are a WCCC member.

The chamber solicited bids from all capable WCCC members. It just happened that a member outside of the county’s borders won the competition.

Our local economy does not stop at the county line. How many county residents work outside its borders? Aren’t you glad those operations are still getting business and providing you a job?
