Students at Valley High School are outraged at the article published March 25. Most of the staff has done nothing to help the process with coping with our loss. They didn’t acknowledge that anything had even happened. One of our teachers gave us a test the day of the funeral and the students said, “We won’t be here because of the funeral.” Her response was, “That’s your own problem.”

Not one counselor from the county except for our own was here, but she also didn’t do anything to help us.

This is a really hard time for my fellow classmates and me. Valley High School has been through a lot this year and I think it’s very disrespectful for our principal to falsify to the paper.
