Edward (Gene) Lancaster and Barbara Rine were married on March 21, 1959, in Bellton, W.Va., by the Rev. Brady Plantz. Attendants for the wedding were Phil Rhine and Hope Rine, brother and sister of the bride. Others attending the wedding were Audra Dawson and Raymond Lasure.

Edward is the son the late Samuel and Lela Lancaster. Barbara is the daughter of the late Kenneth Rine and Brooksie (Howard) Eggleston.

Edward is retired from Chemical Leaman Tank Lines as a truck driver. Barbara worked as a housewife and mother. They have five children:

Vera (Mike) Martin, deceased; Jeanne (Steve) Ingold; Edward (Sandy) Lancaster; Missy Cecil; and Renee (Steve) Haught. They have nine grandchildren, Samatha Yeager, Mikayala Martin, Josh and Katie Ingold, Hayden Lancaster, Candace and Michael Cecil, Jessica and Clay Loy; and several step-grandchildren.

Their children are giving them a party on March 22 to celebrate their life together.
