Glenn Earl Forni and Adrienne Renae Griffin

Adrienne Renae Griffin and Glenn Earl Forni, together with their parents, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Merwin and Karla Griffin of New Matamoras. Adrienne is the granddaughter of Donnalene Griffin of New Matamoras and the late Howard Griffin, and Kenneth and Vivian Parks of New Martinsville.

She is a 2001 graduate of Frontier High School and a 2005 graduate of Washington State Community College in Marietta, with an Associate Degree in Graphic Design. She is employed by Creighton Sports Center in New Matamoras.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of David and Bonnie Forni of New Matamoras. Glenn is the grandson of Ila Forni of Woodsfield and the late Earl Forni, Helen Drake of Marietta, and the late Glenn Dye.

He is a 2001 graduate of Frontier High School and a 2003 graduate of Washington State Community College in Marietta with an Associate Degree in Diesel Mechanics. After serving active duty, including deployment in Iraq for the United States Army, he is a sergeant in the 459th Engineer Company in New Martinsville. Glenn is employed with the Army Corps of Engineers at Seneca Lake, Senecaville, Ohio.

A private beach wedding is being planned for August 2009 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
