Joe and Celia Johnson will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on March 7. They were married in New Martinsville by Willis Sliter.

Joe is the son of the late Mort and Mable Johnson of Silver Hill. Celia is the daughter of Golda Cecil of New Martinsville and the late Curt Cecil.

Their family includes two daughters, Pam (Jim) Ferrell, Tammy (Dean) Wichterman; one son, Scott (Gwen) Johnson; two grandsons, Chris and Craig Ferrell; two granddaughters, Haley and Emma Johnson; five step-grandchildren, Alena Barnett, Levi, Cary, Zack, and Chase Wichterman; a great-grandson, Talon James Ferrell; and a step-great-granddaughter, Sophia Barnett.
