A special week is set aside each year for the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans. The staff and volunteers of the Louis A. Johnson VA Healthcare System are privileged to serve this nation’s veterans by providing the highest quality of health care possible and are busy making plans for the 2009 event, which is scheduled for Feb. 8-14.

During this special week, we would like to extend an invitation to the community to join us in recognizing and thanking the men and women who have served this country and are hospitalized at the VA Medical Center.

Please consider “Visiting a Vet for Valentine’s Day”, by participating in National Salute activities planned throughout the week.
