I am writing about my friend and a very good neighbor to this whole community, Judith Marlow. She no longer resides in this town since she retired from being pastor for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in New Martinsville since this past June. She has been battling Ovarian cancer since the beginning of last year and because of a recurrences, she has been in James Cancer Center in Columbus for over three weeks now.

I write about her because of many contributions she made to this community. Her devotion to all people, to come to their aide in this town and beyond had no limits. She counseled many (including me) and sat at many bedsides of those who were sick and dying. I wanted to say that she needs us all to be by her side now as she is battling a huge foe herself. Please say a prayer for her.
