It may seem that a lot has been printed lately about “The Big Read”. It has, but it is only because a group of people are very excited about promoting reading through this project.

We also think it is a worthwhile endeavor and hope many local residents be inspired to spend this coming wintry month transported even further into the cold-to Alaska. However this trip is only through their imaginations as they read “The Call of the Wild” while sitting in the warm comfort of their easy chair.
