Alvin and Pat Amos

Alvin and Pat Amos celebrated their 30th anniversary on Jan. 19.

Patricia is the daughter of the late Clarence and Opal Scyoc. Alvin is the son of the late Clarence Amos and Genevieve Amos.

Now living in Sevierville, Tenn., they are the parents of five children: Carla Hoover Farrell (Jim); Sharie Amos Saffell (Bill); Marc Hoover (Babe), Sheila Amos Thomas (Bill); and Newman Byrne Hoover (Michelle).

They are the grandparents of Amber Hoover (John); Bill Saffel (Misty); Alex Thomas; Katie Thomas; Renae Smith; and Marissa Hoover. They also have a great-grandson, Caleb (Hoover) Snodgrass.
