Rachel Anne Maris and Matthew Scott Ludwig

Terry and Kathy Maris, of Ada, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Anne, to Matthew Scott Ludwig, son of Gary and Charolette Ludwig of Ada. Matthew is the grandson of the late Ross and Reba Staley and the nephew of Jerry Staley of New Martinsville.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Ada High School, has her B.A. from Ohio Northern University, and will graduate from the University of Rio Grande in May with a master’s degree in education. She is co-owner and teacher at the Ready, Set, Grow Preschool in Ada.

Her fiance is a graduate of Swanton High School and will graduate in the spring from Columbus State with a degree in construction management. He is employed as an Assistant Project Manager with Thomas & Marker Construction in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at 3:30 p.m., June 6 at the First United Methodist Church in Ada.
