Yes, the center of a NATIONAL scandal! I no longer live in WV and saw all of the embarrassing TV news shows and front page print articles about his smear campaign. Why in the world would someone want to have a football field named after a person that did those immoral things, I'll never know.

Center of an embarrassing national scandal??? Contrary to popular belief in this area, WVU is not the center of the nation.
People loved Bill Stewart in New Martinsville. I agree with associating his name with our football program.
