Are our streams, rivers and wells safe from hydraulic fracturing waste water? There was an article in the New York Times on Feb. 26, 2011 titled, "Regulation Lax as Gas Wells’ Tainted Water Hits Rivers" and can be view online via the New York Times website. It is one article in a series on the risks of natural gas drilling and efforts to regulate this industry. This is an issue we are facing here in Wetzel Co. as well as across the country, and maybe this forum can be used to pass on information in regards to current natural gas regulations.
